Fruit Cocktail Cake

2 eggs
2 teaspoons soda
1 can fruit cocktail
1 ½ teaspoon of salt
1 ½ cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine ingredients and put in a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle cake with coconut and brown sugar. Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees.

Topping

1 stick butter
½ cup evaporated milk
¾ cup sugar
2 egg yolks

Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved add coconut. Spread over cake.
