Kahlua

3 cups sugar
4 cups water
10 teaspoons instant coffee
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 1/2 cups vodka

Simmer sugar, water and instant coffee for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Cool. Add vanilla and vodka. Put in dark colored bottle and seal with a cork.
